Welcome to the Bernard E. Rosenberg Religious and Hebrew School

We are a comprehensive religious school for students through 8th grade, with small classes designed to address the needs and abilities of each student. Our motto is “We take religious education seriously and very personally.”  We believe that religious education is a family affair – that “it takes a shul” to teach our children about Judaism. Our teaching style emphasizes inter-generational teaching and learning which integrates both the congregation and the families of students. If you are committed to teaching your child about the Jewish faith and participating in his or her religious education, then Temple Isaiah Religious School is right for you.

One-Day-A-Week School and Additional Family Programs

Our students attend Religious School one day per week on Tuesday afternoons.

In addition we invite famililes to participate in a variety of regularly scheduled programs to enhance and promote Jewish values and quality family time. Programs include workshops, holiday events, social action projects, worship services, trips, and hands-on activities.

Religious School Goals

1.  To develop and instill a strong sense of Jewish identity in each student to become a knowledgeable Jew.
2.  To guide and encourage independent and critical thinking in matters of Jewish belief, practice and traditions.
3.  To teach and instill responsible, compassionate and ethical behavior according to the principles of the Jewish faith.
4.  To prepare our children for Bar/Bat mitzvah, continuing on to Confirmation and beyond.
